R2 WORLDSHIFT LEADERSHIP CIRCLE INTENSIVES
HORIZON 2020
Brussels – Friday 12 February 2010
Are you a mid to senior level executive, leader, entrepreneur or innovator who is looking for fresh perspectives and inspired connections to drive the changes and innovations you are planning in 2010? Building on our highly successful programs in 2009, Renaissance2 (“R2”) is delighted to announce two intensive days in Brussels and London. We will focus on the opportunities and challenges associated with the next decade and the strategies and methods available to navigate and thrive in these rich but turbulent times.
These intensives are limited to 25 senior decision makers in business, government and NGOs. They will provide the following benefits to participants:

The intensives are split into morning and afternoon sessions which can be booked individually, though we recommend the one day special package as the best value!
Morning Session:
Creating Resilient Environments and Developing Renewable Energy Solutions
In the morning we are going to explore how to create resilient environments, organisations and communities with renewable energy solutions resulting in a renewable bright green economy. There will be two in depth keynote presentations by world experts and an interactive session where participants will get to grips with the implication of the morning session for themselves, their organisation and networks.
Lunch:
A tasty lunch will be served and participants will get the chance to network and discuss the sessions.
Afternoon Session:
Cultivating Enlightened Enterprises and Building Systems of Integral Governance
In the afternoon we are going to explore some of the very practical issues involved in implementing projects, programmes and new ventures arising in our quest for a bright green economy, organisation and lives. There will be a keynote address illustrating some of the more advanced management, governance and leadership approaches emerging in enlightened organisations around the world, followed by a participative session where participants will learn to apply some of these new methods and tools to their own situation.

Dr Robin Wood is recognized internationally as being in the vanguard of integral leaders, business advisors, authors and entrepreneurs in Europe. He is based in the South of France and London, and has lived and worked in over 30 countries on 4 continents. He has founded, developed and supported hundreds of organizations to realize their full potential in sustainable ways. For example, he co-developed the World Bank’s first Sustainable Energy policy in 1992, co-founded one of Europe’s first e-business incubators in 1999 at E&Y, consulted to the UK Cabinet Office on social capital in 2002 and contributed to the UN Year of Micro-credit strategy in 2005.
As Founding President of Renaissance2 Robin is responsible for the vision, strategy and design of Renaissance2, as well as leadership of the executive team that ensures the effective operation of the organization. He is also the author of several books including “The Great Shift: Catalyzing the Second Renaissance” and its companion guidebook with Linda- Lee Ratto: “LifeShift2020”, and the award winning book “Managing Complexity”. His dream is to co-create a flourishing global civilization in the next few decades through fresh perspectives, inspired connections and fruitful outcomes amongst and through the leaders and Transactivists of the future.
Dr Graham Boyd has successfully lived and worked in six different cultures over the past 20 years, including South Africa, Germany, Italy, Japan, Belgium and China. More than anything else this has taught him how similar we all are. Now in TetraLD, he is enjoying combining his experience of people, science and business to develop individuals, teams and new businesses. Recently he has given cross-cultural trainings within P&G, building on his experience working and living in Asia, Europe and Africa. He also initiated quality control training in P&G, giving this 3 times a year for the past 8 years. Graham is also an accomplished public speaker, both in English as well as German, his second language.
Years of intercultural experience have taught Graham how similar we all are. As Vice President of renaissance2, Graham is enjoying combining his long term vision with his experience of people, science and business to focus on developing people, solutions and communities.
Matthias Lehmann has worked as a trainer and coach since 2002 and is currently studying Industrial Engineering in Darmstadt. His focus as a trainer is leadership, developing teams and intercultural competencies. His experiences range from individual coaching to facilitating groups of more than 200 people, spanning 10 countries throughout Europe and South America. Born and raised in Germany, Matthias has also lived in Argentina and Hungary and served in Toastmasters and also in AIESEC as a member of the National Board of AIESEC Hungary and as a leader of the Global Talent Management Unit, an international virtual team developing HR tools for their 30,000 members in 110 countries and coaching leaders of several national AIESEC chapters.
Renaissance2’s Director of Organisational Development, Matthias strongly believes in creating win-win situations and wants to support people and organizations to grow – by focusing on their individual strengths and fostering cooperation.
Fiona Hayes, a Certified Integral Coach, spent many years in coaching and consultancy, working on how organisations and people work most effectively, before recently taking up the challenge of structuring and implementing an organisational development strategy in one division of a large corporate with complex cultural challenges. She has accumulated her skills working in a range of industries including Fitness and Sport, Adult Education, Software Development, Agriculture, Professional Services and is now working in Construction.
As a Development Pathfinder with Renaissance2, Fiona is driven by the urgent need for people, organisations and communities to find a new and better way; one that fully respects the whole of Life and nurtures the ecosystem that supports us.
